Meals on Wheels Chicago has benefited from a generous community of individual and corporate donors, event sponsors, and volunteers for over 20 years. The funds we are able to raise, the services we provide, and the events we host would not be possible without their assistance. This remarkable group of individuals and companies provide support to our organization and are the driving force behind our mission to ensure Chicago's seniors and disabled population retain a lifestyle of independence and dignity.

Whether you're interested in volunteering or would like to make a monetary donation, you can make a difference. Consider the following facts about our programs:

• Over 6,000 people receive meals each weekday.
• Over 1,000 people receive meals on the weekends.
• Two meals per day costs $6.67
• One person can receive two meals a day, for a full week, for just $46.69
• Home Modification allows people with disabilties to achieve maximum indepedence.
• 400 Chicago homes have been made accesssible since the program's inception.
• Modification are limited to $10,000 per project.
