Give Thanks Campaign

Give Thanks & Give Hope

Since 1987, Meals on Wheels Chicago has been there for our city's homebound seniors and individuals with disabilities. By providing nutritious meals and a friendly face, MOWC has restored dignity, increased indepdence, and offered hope to countless homebound seniors and individual with disabilities living in the City of Chicago.

"I live by myself, and I can't cook anymore. I wasn't eating enough, but I thought I could manage"

At this moment in our country's history, millions of Americans are struggling with hunger. But our senior community represents the fastest growing number of food-insecure people.

You can play a vital role in feeding our city's homebound seniors
and individuals with disabilities.

Donate to make a difference.

With your donation, we can help Chicago's homebound seniors and individuals with disabiliies so they do not have to spend the holiday season worrying about where they will find their next meal.

  • Your tax-deductible gift of $110 can provide 33 holiday meals throughout the year.
  • Your tax-deductible gift of $250 can provide 2 home-delivered meals a day for 1 month.

As we enter our 30th year, our goal for the 2016 "Give Thanks" Campaign is to provide 25,000 meals to homebound seniors and individuals with disabilities during the holidays

Donate to help us reach our goal.

Most of us cannot imagine any of our loved ones going without regular meals during the holiday season--a time when most of us are surrounded by the warmth and kindness of family and friends.

Won't you make the holidays bright for a homebound Chicago senior
or an individual with a disability?
