Friday, October 30: Meals on Wheels Chicago is hosting ten days of events and activities to raise much needed funds for the upcoming holiday meal deliveries. This week of fundraising will launch our end of year campaign, Hunger Takes No Holiday. All proceeds will help fund the Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day meals.

The home meal delivery program in Chicago now serves over 10,400 seniors and individuals with disabilities, a 67% increase in enrollment compared to this time last year. These individuals need our help now more than ever, and we need to raise enough to send each one of our clients two meals on each of these three holidays. That adds up to more than 60,000 meals!

Our community is capable of amazing things when we pool our resources to meet new challenges. Support your homebound neighbors in need by participating in our virtual events, placing a bid in the silent auction, ordering a special Friday night dinner from one of our restaurant partners, or by making a donation!
