Chef Christian Fantoni hails from Bergamo, Italy, where he received his formal training at The Technical and Professional Culinary School Clusone. Since then, Fantoni has led the culinary programming at many successful restaurants in Chicago, New York City, and beyond, earning him a Michelin Star rating for his work at Fiamma, NYC. Chef Christian was also the Italian Executive Chef at RPM Italian/ RPM Steak in Chicago for 5+ years. Fantoni shares his Italian roots in a fresh, modern way as Executive Chef of Casati’s in Lincoln Park through a thoughtfully-curated, robust menu of lighter, more fresh versions of traditional favorites. Working closely with Casati’s owner Stefano Casati, Fantoni worked diligently to curate a menu with the mindset of light, fresh, and healthy. The core of the menu is made from scratch with entrees, fresh pasta’s daily, and Pinsa-“the healthiest” pizza in Chicago. Outside of the kitchen, Fantoni spends his time with his four wonderful children and enjoying the outdoors.
