Chef Rodolfo Morales was born and raised in Cuernavaca, Mexico. Growing up in his family’s kitchen, Rodolfo learned from his mother the importance of technique and patience, while gaining a deep appreciation chills in all their forms. At sixteen, “Rudy” ventured to Chicago and fell in love with the sights, sounds and food scene. Starting at the bottom, Chef Rudy nurtured his craft and worked his way up to Sous Chef positions at the critically acclaimed House of Blues, Adobo Grill and Wave Restaurant inside the W Lakeshore Hotel. In 2014, Chef Rudy Joined the Michael Jordan’s Steak House team inside the historic InterContinental Hotel. As Chef de Cuisine, Chef Rudy and Executive Chef Craig Couper showcase a traditional steakhouse experience with local, seasonal flair. When he is not in the kitchen you can find Rudy on one of Chicago’s many soccer pitches, playing with friends, or supporting his favorite team Real Madrid.
