Represent MOWC
You can often find Meals on Wheels Chicago at community events and local farmer’s markets, spreading the word about the home meal delivery program. Volunteer to man the table for a few hours!
Volunteer at Congregate City Senior Centers
Does your company organize volunteer opportunities? We need your help at the City’s Congregate Senior Centers! Volunteer with your co-workers to organize a game of bingo and serve lunch.
Volunteer at Events
Do you love to plan events? Do you like to be behind the scenes? Consider volunteering at one of our three events or joining our Celebrity Chef Ball planning committee!
Volunteer at Our Food Pantry
Meals on Wheels Chicago operates a food pantry at a local senior center once a month. Organize inventory, set up and break down, and help seniors pick out their items!
Create Wellness Packs
This is a great option for companies looking to get their employees involved in a good cause! Purchase items to support the health and wellness of seniors (a list of suggestions can be provided), and package them together as a team. Wellness packs are then distributed to seniors in need throughout Chicago.
